Logging Off for Lent - Day 30
Who remembers the acronym F.R.O.G? For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, it means to Fully Rely on God.  That's the message that I believe Mark was trying to convey in today's reading in chapter 6.

That message really hit home for me because I've been doing so much work on myself that I was starting to wonder if I was selfish. There are shades of selfishness, but realistically I'm learning that to truly love others, I have to learn how to love myself first.

I've loved spending these last several weeks with Jesus. I had every intention of keeping in contact with my friends, but I believe He knew that I needed to withdraw completely to tighten the love bond I have with Him. To help me realize that I could completely depend on Him in all areas of life - financially, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and even physically.

I'm switching gears a bit to figure out how I want to step back into my coaching business. How does (or does) social media play a role in my business? How much does social media play a role in my personal life? Do I continue writing a blog post a day?

I definitely have questions, but I know Who has the answers. How about you? What questions do you have that you haven't brought before Jesus? Consider taking some time today to devote to asking some or all of them.

He is waiting for you to depend on Him completely. Will you let him? NOTE: If you haven't trusted your life to Him, and you feel the nudge to do so, close your eyes and say this prayer with me,

"Jesus, thank you so much for loving me. Thank you for seeing who I truly am and loving me despite what you see. I'm lost, Lord, and I need a shepherd. I've sinned against you, and I'm sorry. Come into my heart and begin to work to make me more like You. Thank you for taking my place on the cross - even though I didn't deserve it then and I don't deserve it now - all this I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, my Savior, and friend, Amen."

Friend, if you prayed that prayer for the first time, would you leave a comment and let me know? I'd love to pray for you as you begin your new life in Christ. What a joy we bring to His face when we come to Him, just as we are.
